It's not January or late December, but maybe the beginning of the year was a bit overwhelming with travel, holiday gift exchanges, Christmas eve services, etc. for you to think seriously about starting to read through the Bible this year. However, maybe the summer works better for you. Yes, that's crazy talk I know. Who starts a reading plan in the summer? I guess my answer would be pretty much anyone who wants to. If that's your answer as well here is a new plan that you may want to consider working through. Don't let the time of year stop you from digging deep into the Scriptures. If it seems too much, spread it out over two years by splitting each reading assignment into two days. The key is to start with something realistic and stick with it. Let this summer be your starting point and go for it!
